The Chime Postpartum Workshop is now enrolling for August, 2024

Chime Postpartum is a Psychoeducational Group designed for those in their first 4-5 months postpartum, which includes:

  • Thursday group meetings from 10am-12pm for 9 weeks
  • Optional weekly one-on-one therapeutic consultation
  • Community-building text check-ins
  • "Such a wonderful experience, and I am continuing to use all the concepts daily in my work and personal life. Very grateful to Ashby for including me. It was the highlight of my maternity leave.'

    Naomi

  • "I immediately trusted Ashby... she acknowledged sexism, and was thoughtful about race, sexuality, and other identities. I was able to use the Buddhist practices she taught us to slow down and enjoy my time with my son, to work on communicating better with my partner, and to be unconditionally compassionate for myself in this huge learning curve of new motherhood."

    Caitlin

  • "From the beginning there was no pressure to do anything but receive the teachings. Ashby cultivated equality amongst us, which made the space feel safe to be able to share our feelings. It wasn’t cliquish and felt like a sacred sister-and-mamahood. The teachings were super helpful to take home and apply them, through this I was able to transcend some negative habits into positive ones!"

    Brooke

  • "Sharing & connecting with the other mamas was... meaningful & valued. It made me feel not so alone in this journey of motherhood the second time around."

    Shilpa

  • "Ashby managed to weave mindfulness teachings into our sessions without it ever feeling like school. She offered a warm, inviting space for new moms to share with each other while caring for our babies. I would highly recommend this group for any new mom who is curious about mindfulness practices, or for any new mom who wants to take some time out of their week to meet other moms and babies in a relaxed environment."

THERAPY FOR ARTISTS/WRITERS

Over the years, my artist and writer clients have told me that I have helped them get unstuck from their own minds, often from week to week, so that they are sent home feeling that they know how to start again, and that I have an intuitive understanding of the creative process that stands out from other therapists they have seen.  READ MORE

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I love to work with seasoned meditators/mindfulness ‘junkies’’ like me as well as the newly mindfully curious. Maybe you went on a retreat recently and felt its calming effects and want more of that in your life or maybe you’ve been told you should “slow-down” or “relax more” but can’t seem to find the time to do that with all the demands that are on you. I get it. I am passionate about dispelling the myth that mindfulness is bland and boring. Mindfulness is as funny and affecting as your life is in any possible moment and I can break it down for you into tiny, nourishing bites. READ MORE
My work is informed by my education and training, but also by my experience as a partner, parent, and meditation/mindfulness enthusiast. I speak Spanish and instinctively seek out cross cultural connection in both my work and personal life. My clients often appreciate my directness, warmth, creativity, and humor.
